Mission & Action of the Evening Tuition Project
“To provide dedicated evening tuition tailored to our students' needs, instilling confidence and empowering them to achieve their lifelong educational goals, thereby reducing dropout rates and fostering a brighter future for all"
Objective:
Our project's primary objective is to achieve zero dropouts in middle school education at Damkottai Village tribal children's to reduce School Drop-Out.
Project Preview:
The data underscores a critical need for targeted interventions to address the root causes of high dropout rates. Specifically,
Evening tuition classes were conducted for 20 Damkottai tribal children to reduce dropout rates and enhance their academic performance.
Additional skills such as Abacus and Computer Training were incorporated to improve cognitiveabilities and digital literacy
Child Parliament sessions were conducted to teach children leadership, decision-making, and responsibility, fostering a sense of civic engagement from a young age.
Regular refreshments were provided during tuition hours to ensure children's active participation.
Academic Performance Improvement
Out of the 20 students attending the evening tuition, 80% showed marked improvement in their academic performance, particularly in mathematics and language subjects. Teachers noted increased comprehension of key topics, and students expressed greater confidence in their abilities.
